18. The short checklist

Nothing here is mandatory, but a server with all of it configured is one nobody has to babysit.

• grief is in the server and answers to ping
• prefix is set and written down for staff
• staff, mod-log and join-log channels are configured
• the muted, jail and jail-role settings exist
• moderation setup has run and cases record reasons
• automod and filter setup are on, with staff exempt
• antinuke and antiraid are on, with the owner and admins whitelisted
• logs are enabled and the log channel is private
• autoroles and the level rewards match the roles you actually have
• there is a backup from before anything else changes
